On Sunday April 19th, 2009 Virgogray Press invades Gemini Ink for a poetry book reading and discussion in honor of National Poetry Month. I invite all to attend as I will be reading from my two latest collections of poetry, Ghost Roads and The Terrorist. The presentation entitled “Virgogray: A Perspective” will run an hour long and examines the role of poetry in this fast-paced, modern world and how this sacred art-form, though seen as a dying kind by many including the mass media, is instrumental to the survival of our humanity. A brief Q &A will follow at the close of the session. My books as well as other titles by Virgogray Press will be available for purchase. The event is free and open to the public. Please arrive early as seating will be limited. The event begins at 7:30 PM. Please note: FIESTA begins this April week in San Antonio and parking may be more of an issue than normal. There are not any huge events taking place on that Sunday, but many FIESTA-goers may seek parking to attend the weekly events happening all over downtown. Please, arrive early.
